Modernity-Death by convenience

God spoke and dust became man, man speaks and bread becomes God.

If at Holy Mass the Sacrifice is one and the self-same as that of Calvary and my presence there is, as it were, as efficacious as being alongside the Blessed Mother and St. John, then all Masses are in effect one as well. Therefore, from eternity’s perspective, when I am at Holy Mass I stand at Calvary, but I also stand with St. Francis in the 13th Century, Leo the Great in the fifth, Irish peasants in the woods in the 18th Century, and with all the faithful in all generations and all places as one.

At the Domine non sum dignus reflect on how true this is and that at your final Domine non sum dignus you will be progressing towards your judge.
